Interest Free Payment Plans
I want to make original art accessible to everyone, and so if you find a painting you love here and can't afford in one payment, send me an email using the "CONTACT" link above with the name of the painting, and we can set up a payment plan that works. Payment plans, are similar to layaway plans, and reserve the artwork for you by taking it off the market until ; (1) your payment plan is completed, or (2) you fail to make a payment or communicate with me for 60 days.
Entering into a Payment Plan with me is a binding contract. Once you make the initial installment, you are automatically agreeing to the terms on this page, so please read everything carefully, and don't hesitate to ask me any questions if you require clarification.
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A PAYMENT PLAN FOR A PIECE YOU SEE IN
AN ONLINE OR FACEBOOK AUCTION GROUP, PLEASE SEND ME
A MESSAGE BEFORE PLACING A BID ON THE PIECE.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. You pay a non refundable 1st installment (up front) equal to 1/3 of the value of the piece + the cost
of shipping. In other words the cost of the painting + the cost of shipping divided by three equals
your first payment.
2. You make 2 subsequent equal monthly payments to cover the remaining 2/3 of the value owing.
3. I agree to take the art off the market and reserve it for you!
4. I hold the art until the last payment is received and the balance is paid in full, I will ship the
artwork to you within 2 or 3 business days (unless circumstances prevent this).
INTEREST FREE
As a courtesy to my valued customers, you pay no interest when you purchase your art through this agreed payment plan.
MAKING PAYMENTS
Payments are collected via PayPal. You’ll receive monthly invoices showing the amount due that month, and the balance owed in the note section. If you live in Canada, you can pay with an e-transfer.
FLEXIBILITY – BUT COMMUNICATION IS VITAL!
The Payment Plan you agree to is a binding contract, but it can be a flexible contract. I understand that situations may arise that change your ability to pay. And so, if you run into unexpected circumstances, you must contact me to arrange for a longer period (up to 4 months). Failure to contact me can result in a violation of this contract - see "FAILURE TO MAKE A PAYMENT AND FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE"
Please note that you can always make larger payments to get your artwork sooner!
FAILURE TO MAKE A PAYMENT AND FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE
If you cannot make a monthly payment, please let me know immediately.
If no payment is received for 60 consecutive days, and no agreement was made to delay payment, you will be in default of this contract, and the payment plan will be terminated.
The reserved artwork will go back on the market, and you will forfeit (lose) all payments you have already made to date.
To be clear, when you make no payments for a period of 60 days, and we have not agreed to a revised payment schedule, the art piece will not be yours, and no refunds will be given to you.
CANCELLATION
If you have initiated a payment plan and for some reason, after having made one or more payments, wish to cancel further payments and receive a partial refund on payments already made, you may do so, with the following conditions:
1. You must notify me immediately, so that I can put the art piece up for sale and back on the market.
2. You will forfeit (lose) the first installment (1/3) made on the artwork as a service fee and
compensation for any fees incurred and/or the potential lost of sales for having kept the art off the
market.
